For onward travel from Bangrak Seatran Discovery Ferry Pier we recommend using the minivan transfer service operated by the Seatran Discovery Ferry company. For 150 THB per person you will be taken by minivan to any point on Koh Samui. You can book your transfer on the ferry with any member of the Seatran Discovery staff. The reason we recommend using the ferry company’s transfer service is that taxis on Koh Samui are very expensive. Koh Samui taxi drivers generally refuse to use their meters and charge fixed fares of 400 THB upwards for most journeys, even if just a few kilometres.
